azFans.com was founded by ASU alumnus Jon Parks and launched in November of 2008. azFans.com is a community of Arizona sports fans who share a common passion — their teams and players.
azFans are smarter fans because they are informed fans who are prouder because they have confidence in their knowledge of their teams. When fans are confident and proud, they become louder!

azFans.com believes in fans first. We know fans because we are fans ourselves. We as fans invest unhealthy amounts of time watching games, reading articles, browsing forums, and talking trash. Who says articles have to be written by “professional” sports writers who get paid to write about our teams be of more important than the voice of a fan who pays to care? A fan who spends his/her hard earned money to take in a sold-out Suns game, shell out for $10 beers and risk losing his job because he/she is constantly following his/her team online have their opinion be of any less importance? An azFan is proud because he/she is informed and knows his/her city, teams, and players. azFans are proud because they are a part of their city, and their teams are an extension of themselves. Something they grew up with, something they believe in.
